While the thunderclouds were rolling in, Jessica sat quietly poised at the makeup salon & asked me if I was nervous the day of my wedding. Not "why am I doing this" nervous, but "I am so excited" nervous. Of course I was. It was overwhelming knowing that everybody present that day was there for me. She smiled & we continued talking about marriage for a while. This was a rare moment for me, & I loved every second of it. For two hours of her wedding day, I got to spend time alone with the bride (& makeup artist) & just simply talk & get to know each other better.

At the chapel, Jessica & Steven's family & friends were busy finishing up decorating the wedding. Almost everything was handmade or customized to make it personal, & it showed. Love was here.

I am so in love with Jessica's blush pink wedding dress. Gorgeous!

Sometimes your nephew tries & succeeds in stealing the show.

Jessica & Steven surprised everybody with a beautifully choreographed first dance.

Funny story: Jessica's brother Josh grabbed a rose & danced across the floor, because he's a funny guy. His nephew (the little show stealer) asked Josh if he could have the rose & promptly turned around to hand it to Josh's girlfriend (who happens to be my sister-in-law). Their faces are priceless!
