I can honestly tell you that Ashley has been planning her wedding since she was a little girl. I know this, because I have known her her entire life & very often heard her talk about her future wedding. She was all smiles the entire day. While Ashley is not a blood relative to me, she may as well be, so it was such an honor to document her & Andrew's special day.

The day started at the hotel where Scarlett O'Hara faces were practiced in the mirror...

...& sweet tea & Whataburger was consumed by everyone...

...& wedding bells were worn.

It's inevitable that your dress or train will get stepped on at some point. Just go with it.

Ashley's sister Amanda revealed the root of Ashley's obsession with the color purple: a certain beloved dinosaur named Barney. Amanda successfully got an entire room of adults to sing the Barney song, a feat she was very proud of.

Ashley & Andrew met on the intramural football field, thus throwing the garter on a football made complete sense. It's also a stupendous way to get the guys excited about catching the garter.
