kristen&josh {wedding} crystal springs, houston, texas

On Monday before Kristen & Josh's wedding, I was finally making my way back home from a weekend of being stuck at my parents' home in Houston. The flood waters didn't affect their home, but the area was still flooded. I set out for Austin & ten minutes later I got a phone call from Kristen.

Their venue was flooded.

There was no other option but to move their wedding. Thankfully, Kristen & Josh were getting married at one of the Springs Events' venues, & they had another venue on the other side of town that was available & was very similar in looks to their original venue. Wedding miracles can happen!

It still sprinkled throughout the day of the wedding with occasional downpours so the ceremony had to be held indoors, but we were able to do most photos outside. The grass was so green! I cannot express how amazing it is when you have a bridal party that's not afraid of a little bit of rain. Many thanks to everyone for cooperating! Smiles were everywhere!

Such a precious first look!

This photo cracks me up. Groom, groomsmen, & bridesmaids carrying the train. Bridesmaids carrying other bridesmaids' dresses.

How gorgeous is this cake table??
