lauren&shane {wedding} annunciation catholic church

In case you missed it looking through these photos, Lauren is a model. Like, for real. But. When she looked at Shane. Her model smile turned into a real, pure joy smile. (Don’t get me wrong, both smiles are beautiful.)

After a gorgeous ceremony at the Annunciation Catholic Church, we scooted down the road (literally!) to Lauren’s family feed store. Here, every member of her family had held their wedding party & had participated in many many many hours of dancing.

One of my favorite details was Lauren’s custom-made convertible wedding dress. For her bridal shoot we never removed the overskirt, but once it was party time, I finally got to see it without. I love that the bow at her waist became the focal point on the back.

While I absolutely love the bright & cheerful colors they chose for their wedding, I struggled with not converting every single photo to black & white. Although if I had, you would have missed Lauren’s emerald engagement ring.

Lauren & Shane, what an amazing day! You two are models (literally) & every moment was full of joy. Thank you for asking me to document your wedding!
