turn your cards into a book

If you're like me, you find it hard to throw away anything sentimental, especially greeting cards. This is the perfect way to preserve your cards from your wedding, new home, new baby, the loss of a loved one, & so much more.

Each of these books are custom made by me & tailored to fit your cards. They are a labor of love, & I treat each set of cards like they were my own.

I have been honored to create books for people all over the world.

Including Australia, Dubai, England, Ireland, Canada, & all over the States.

Pricing begins at $80 before materials, shipping, & applicable taxes.
Additional books in one order are $60.
Each book holds a stack of cards up to 2.5" thick.

FAQ // Do I ship my cards to you?

Yes. I work with your original cards. Cards are individually sewn into the binding, then covered & finished with your choice of materials. Most cards can be sewn in (flat, folded, vertical fold, & even the tiny weird-shaped ones) so order everything the way you want.

Pockets can be created but contents cannot exceed 1/4” in thickness.

Invitations can be added to the inside front cover either by pocket or photo corners if not sewn in as the first page.

Book Titles

To take your book of greeting cards one step further, add a title to your book! Titles can include your name, a meaningful phrase, a non-customizable graphic, & more.

STEP 1 // PICK OUT MATERIALS

discounted materials

I have plenty of leftover materials from past orders that are discounted.

discontinued items are marked down even further.

To get started, tell me your three finishing materials for your book:

  • the outside cover

  • the inside paper (known as the end leaf)

  • the ribbon to tie your book shut

If you are wanting multiple books each made with different materials, tell me in the Special Request box your three finishing choices for each book.

If you fill out the order form with only one set of materials & indicate that you need 2 or more books, I will assume you want the books matching.

The Outside Cover

The outside cover is usually the easiest to start with since it’s the largest visual element of the book.

Fine Paper

The handmade papers are distinctly organic, textured, & fibrous with matte finishes & feature prints & designs with a few solid options.

  • pick at least 1 sheet

  • prices range from $3.95–$11

Pro Tip // The ‘handmade’ papers work the best. The flat wrap & Cavallini papers are ok but may bubble up. I will advise you if you should pick something else. Please do not pick a roll of paper.

Bookcloth

A cloth finish with solid, vibrant colors.

  • pick at least 1 color

  • prices range from $5–$18

See all color options here.

Pro Tip // Titles really pop against the bookcloth.

Concerned about the handmade paper being less durable than the bookcloth? Don’t worry. I reinforce everything.

Like both?

I can combine two different materials on one cover for an even more unique look.

Ribbon

To tie your book shut

  • pick 1 color per book

  • prices start at $6/book for colors in my inventory

  • $12 for a new color not in my inventory

Most of my inventory is … All ribbon is double-sided satin, roughly 1” in thickness.

See my discounted inventory below.

end leaf paper

the inside cover

  • pick 1 color

  • prices start at $5/book

This is a solid-color heavy-weight cardstock paper & cannot be a fine paper. The Shimmer, Stardream, & Poinsettia papers have a nice pearl/shimmer finish. The Luxe & Aubergine papers have a rich texture. The rest are a flat/matte finish.

See my discounted inventory below.

STEP 2 // SORT YOUR CARDs

Let me know if you have your cards in a specific order, & I'll do my best to make sure they stay that way. If you want, you could put a stickie note on each one with their order number, or lightly number them in pencil (small print!) on the back in a corner. I suggest putting them in a ziploc bag if you mail them in a big box where they could fly around free.

If you don't care about order, I'll just bind them together at random.

Sorting by size (ie, smallest cards to largest) does not look the best.

STEP 3 // MAIL YOUR CARDS TO ME

Please do not include any envelopes & make sure all cards are empty of gift receipts, gift certificates, etc. If any card has additional notes or messages inside, I'll be sure to keep those attached to the cards. If I find anything that may have been overlooked, I'll be sure to send it back.

If you would like a pocket added for smaller cards or an invitation, please include those items so I know how large or small to make the pocket. Pocket contents cannot exceed 1/4” thick.

Don't forget to get tracking on your package in case it gets lost!

STEP 4 // PAYMENT

Once you've picked out your materials & I've received your cards, I'll set up an Etsy listing just for you where you can pay. Because this is a collaborative project, it's hard to estimate a delivery time. If you are working with a deadline, please let me know in the Special Requests box of the order form.

A $15/book rush order fee can be added to your order. While this does not ensure a completion or delivery date, it does put you at the top of my queue. You will also have the option for rush shipping in check out.
