There was never a more accurate description of a wedding venue than that!

The majority of Cypress Falls Event Center was built in 1949 but a several updates were made in 2007. I believe the outdoor reception space is about to be renovated a little, so keep an eye out for that!

outdoor ceremony

The outdoor ceremony space is on the water & boasts a trendy triangular altarpiece. A white teepee is close by which makes for unique photos with your new spouse. Unfortunately, time did not allow me to get any photos of it nor the unique rock formations nearby.

outdoor reception

After the ceremony, move your party to the outdoor reception space with a fireplace for your s’mores bar, a covered platform for your live band, & a covered patio with a fully stocked bar lit by twinkle lights. I believe this is about to be renovated, so keep an eye out for that!

Or, if you prefer the AC to dance in, head inside to this unique setting with plenty of space for your 200 guests

getting ready rooms

Just down the hall from the indoor reception space is the bride’s room, while the groom’s room is directly off of the reception hall, & the Native American textiles were carried throughout.

lodging & activities

Cypress Falls boasts plenty of lodging if you want to turn your wedding day into a weekend extravaganza. With a swimming pool, paddle boarding, canoeing, & tennis courts, plenty of fun is to be had for the laid back outdoorsy couple & their friends.

tavern

Have an after party? The tavern adjacent to the indoor reception space is open late. Keep in mind it’s open to the public. Sing along with the live music in front of the moon!
