ashley&andrew {engagements} sam houston memorial park

Where to start with these two? I guess I could start by saying I have known Ashley & her family my entire life. We grew up together in the same town outside of New Orleans, then after a few years spent on the other side of the planet from each other, we continued our growing up together in the same town outside of Houston. Ashley's family has become my extended family & I wouldn't have it any other way.

Andrew, who will henceforth be referred to as Wroth because Ashley & I both have brothers named Andrew & having a third Andrew just complicates things, is a solid guy who fits right in. Welcome to the family, Wroth!

Ashley & Wroth went to Sam Houston where they met playing flag football. As Ashley put it, Wroth demanded that she be put on all of his intramural teams when he found out she was athletic. So, before we got hot & sweaty playing some flat football, we wandered around the Sam Houston Memorial Park which was beautiful.

This huge trunk had been carved into a massive chair, so I told Wroth to give me his best this is my kingdom & my woman face, & I told Ashley to give me her best Scarlett O'Hara face. Perfection.
